Prison Help! is currently embarking upon the establishment of, and the national growth of our "Social Support Volunteer Network", the "SSVN (proun: sven) Network".  

 

Prison Help! is now actively looking for volunteers from all walks of life, who have knowledge and experience in one of the areas listed below, and who are able to commit, regularly, to an agreed volunteering schedule.    You don't have to have lots of spare time to be a volunteer.  In fact, you can become a SSVN member comitting just two days per month, to fit in wtih your availability, all we ask is for consistency.  The nature of our work means we are often supporting people who really do need to know that our services will be available, whenever they need to use them,

 

We are currently seeking volunteers with the following experience:

• First-hand experience of the Prison System as an offender

• Professional experience of the Prison System

• People with a passion for Community Support 

• Experienced Family support workers

• Pre-employment readiness support / training

• Careers/Employment coaches

• Drug mis-use support workers

• Finance & Debt suppport workers
